The TTM 57SL fully integrates Ranes proven hardware and Serato Scratch Live, creating a whole new range of possibilities for your performance. One of the notable new additions on the new model are dual USBs for easy switching over between two Serato DJs with their own laptops, while new software controls include “silicone RGB backlit pads for triggering four cue points per deck or the SP-6 sampler classic joystick controls to toggle slip, instant doubles, internal mode, censor, and transform and dedicated auto-loop and loop roll controls with backlit buttons and intuitive Serato DJ iZotope FX controls”. The successor to the legendary Rane TTM57, the Rane TTM57mkII “stays true to its original design with a familiar workflow, while improving performance and software integration that the Rane TTM57 is renowned for” according to the news release. Rane has announced the Rane TTM57mkII, a new mixer for Serato software, here at NAMM 2015. The new model adds features reflecting the developments in Serato’s software since the original was released. Rane’s new TTM57mkII is a direct replacement for the TTM57, itself a groundbreaking Serato mixer in its day.
